Kimberley Ann began her dance training at the age of 4 under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance in Tap, Ballet and Modern. Kim is an All England Champion in dance and in 2005 she was delighted to receive the Alan Holt award in recognition of young talent in the performing arts.
She has received tuition from Wayne Sleep in Tap, Ballet and Modern and has also performed at Sadler’s Wells, Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, Paris, on TV with Cheryl Baker, Bonnie Langford and has worked with the West End cast of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ at the NEC Birmingham, for the BBC.
Kim joined Bury St Edmunds Operatic Society in 2000 taking the part of Louisa in’ The Sound of Music’ and since then has performed in numerous productions including ‘Liat’ in ‘South Pacific’, ‘The Card’, ‘Gigi’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’ and Playing the romantic young lead ‘Philia’ in ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To The Forum’. Kim has also been involved with the Viva Youth Theatre group.
As the principle dancer for OnSong Productions she has performed in all the major Theatre’s across the region and through this Kim has been glad to help them with their support to age concern. Kim trained as a dance teacher in Royston, this training covers not only dance but also Health and Safety, Child Development, Anatomy and First Aid.
